The Cherokee-Lemp Historic District is located just south of the Interstate 55 (I-55) exit at Arsenal Street, Exit 206-C, which is adjacent to Anheuser-Busch Brewery.

Directions From:

Gateway Arch & Downtown St. Louis sites

Broadway south just over 2 miles from Gateway Arch
(pass Anheuser-Busch Brewery and under I-55)
Turn right/west on Cherokee Street.

West

U.S. Highway 40/Interstate 64
(including from Forest Park with the Art Museum, History Museum)
east to the "Last Missouri Exit,"
south on Broadway approximately 2 miles,
right/West on Cherokee Street.

East

I-55 south to Arsenal Street Exit (about 2 miles south of Gateway Arch),
right/west on Arsenal Street to Lemp Avenue,
Turn left/south on Lemp Avenue to Cherokee Street.

South

I-55 north to Potomac Street Exit,
left/west on Potomac Street (pass under I-55),
turn right/north on South Broadway,
turn left/west on Cherokee Street (before Broadway underpass).

Southwest

I-44 east to I-55, take I-55 south to Arsenal Street Exit,
turn right/west on Arsenal Street to Lemp Avenue,
turn left/south on Lemp Avenue to Cherokee Street.

Northwest

Interstate 70 south to I-55.
Continue south on I-55 (about 2 miles) to Arsenal Street Exit,
turn right/ west on Arsenal Street to Lemp Avenue,
turn left/south onto Lemp Avenue to Cherokee Street.

Bus Route From Downtown:
Metro Bus #73 - Carondelet -
has 3 stops in the Cherokee-Lemp Historic District and takes riders Downtown to the Civic Center Transfer at Savvis Center and the Edison/Sheraton, the Washington Avenue Loft and Entertainment District, and near Union Station, Busch Stadium, and near all the major hotels.
