Minutes & Treasurer's Report: Treasurer's report approved as submitted. May minutes were not available to be approved so they were tabled to August's meeting. |
| Villa Hill Project: Mr. Meredith reported that Alderman Tom Bauer had provided money for the upgrading of the Villa Hill terraces. The money is part of what the neighborhood is allotted each year. |

Crime Report: Ana Casey reported on the latest crime statistics in the absence of the police officer. |
|
Letter: Mr. Meredith read a letter from a neighborhood resident that addressed concerns with her house and her son. Anyone wishing to respond to the letter was encouraged to speak with Bill Miller. |

Announcements: Mr. Meredith read a letter that explained a state bill that passed during the previous session. The bill would provide tax credits for home owners who renovate their homes. Derio Gambaro spoke later on the bill in more detail. |

T-Shirts: Ana Casey reported that T-shirts have gone well and that they are almost sold out. T-shirts can be purchased at the meeting or at the Dogtown Frame Shop. |

NSO Report: Michelle Boston David gave an update from the Neighborhood Stabilization Office. Storage units were being constructed on Manchester Avenue and the older buildings were being torn down at the site across from Blockbuster. A hearing has been set for August for the property at 6429 West Park. Columbo's is remodling, answered questions about it check cashing policy. Answered questions about lead paint testing. The house at 1304 Graham has been condemned. Answered question about the new tax credits. Answered questions about high grass problems. Took comments on the city's 50/50 sidewalk program. |

Garden News: Paul Yaloures spoke on behalf of Elizabeth Vogel. The St. Louis Post Distpatch had a contest for the best garden in St. Louis. The Dogtown garden placed third. It will also be featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine some time next year. |

State Rep Report: Derio Gambaro spoke about the recent legislature session. He said that there will be increases in the personal tax deductions for state income tax filers. He took questions on the tax credits for home renovations. Answered questions about the old National store on Southwest Ave. Answered questions on the Highway 40 redesign. Distributed Hiomebuyer Counseling Providers brochures. Distributed Y2K readiness brochures. |
