Giving Starts With Us

Since 1996 members of the Gitana Board of Directors have contributed tirelessly towards multicultural collaboration within the arts. Members have contributed time and money towards the implementation of our programming. From producing, to marketing, to stage support, ticket sales, grant writing and more, the Board has been on a mission to diversify audiences and increase cross-cultural understanding through music, dance and drama in St. Louis. As a result, all contributions have been used for the artistic and educational components of our work. For each dollar contributed we have provided an in-kind match equivalent to fifty cents. This extraordinary dedication has allowed us to leverage quality with cost effectiveness. The rewards for each of us has been enormously satisfying.

Your Donations Go a Long Way

Our funders, community collaborators and audience continue to ask us to expand our multicultural initiatives. Our ability to engage more communities within St. Louis, creating long-term relationships which result in increased cross-cultural understanding depends on support from you. Our leadership role in this arena of the arts has been consistent and reliable both in quality and results. Nevertheless, we need to raise 45% of our budget from the public. Here are some options for your giving:
