MOKAN CCAC

MOKAN provides technical assistance to better equip contractors to compete independently and successfully in the constrction industry. Planned construction projects and bid opportunities are identified so that under utilized construction firms can participate in numbers in proportion to their make-up of the general population.

Services available through MOKAN enable contractors to become self sustaining entities within the construction field. Specific services provided by the MOKAN staff include:

• Serve as a clearinghouse for city, county, state, and federal bidding opportunities available in St. Louis Metro area
• Assist contractors by providing aid in the development of bids, cost estimates and bid quantities
• Provide assistance in the preparation and submission of loan and bond packages
• Advise contractors on financial and accounting requirements
• Assist contractors in helping to resolve construction related problems
• Provide reproduction service for blueprints
• Review applications and make recommendations for the certification of firms as minority and/or women-owned business as required
  
  Extended Services: MOKAN offers the previosly mentioned services to all local government agencies and private firms
