The St. Louis City Office of the Missouri Children's Division ( formally Division of Family Services) provides the state's child welfare system that works in partnership with the community, other public agencies, community based organizations, and families. The Children's Division provides an array of services from prevention to intervention with families where child abuse and neglect has occurred or is at risk of occurring.
