Services
Provided by the Recreation Council... The
Recreation Council is a clearinghouse of recreation and leisure information
for individuals with disabilities. We
provide information & referral services, do community presentations &
trainings, publish a quarterly newsletter, have a recreation resource center,
run a voucher program to help with fees for overnight camps and ongoing community
recreation, have cooperative agreements with local parks and recreation
departments for inclusion services, and support the of “All of Us” after
school clubs in Wentzville and Francis Howell schools. The Recreation Council is not responsible for the claims made or services delivered by the programs or organizations listed in this newsletter. It is strongly recommended that you research the quality of a program prior to attending, and that you give as much information as possible about the participant when enrolling in a program. This allows the program staff to plan appropriately to successfully include the participant |
