CoffeeCoffee Talk is always the 2nd Friday of every month from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m at Epiphany U.C.C.- 1st Floor, 2911 McNair Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63118.

The topic for this month's Coffee Talk is Domestic Violence in Forgotten Populations

It is open to the public.
There is no cost to attend.
Feel free to invite others.

Coffee Talk is sponsored by the St. Louis Neighborhood Network a grant-funded partnership of parents, neighborhoods, schools, churches, businesses and social service providers. Our goal is building safe children, healthy families, and strong communities by preventing child abuse and neglect.

The St. Louis Neighborhood Network is one of four community partnerships in the country funded by the Center for Community Partnerships & Child Welfare.

Domestic Violence in Forgotten Populations

The October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. Our awareness of this issue should include an understanding that domestic violence occurs and affects families in non-traditional settings involving elderly and same-sex relationships. Moreover, working with immigrant and refugee populations brings additional cultural considerations to the table when dealing with families and domestic violence.

You are invited to our October Coffee Talk to hear Jeanne Meurer of a Woman's Place discuss these issues and more.
