 Teens participants in SLVRP get...
- A special adult "friend"
- Fun!!
- Parenting classes to help you understand your child
- Health classes to help you care for your child
- Learn about resources in your communty
- Meet and share with other pregnant and parenting teens
What is required of me if I participate?
- Your parents must sign a consent form (if you are under 18)
- You will be interviewed by SLVRP staff
- There will be an interview with you and your parents in your home
- Meet with your mentor 6 hours a month for 12 to 15 months
- Attend educational and FUN activities twice a month for 2 hours
(transportation, babysitting, and food is provided!!!)
- Go to all prenatal and well-baby visits doctor visits
