ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING DIVISION

Entries in the classification within this division which include more than one sheet must be bound together along the upper, middle, and lower left-hand edge of the completed set. Small drawings should be on top with larger drawings on the bottom. Drawings must be kept flat. Title blocks containing personal identification data must be covered. If tracing media is used and the original drawing is not directly on tracing media, the original must be the student's work. Indication must be made whether or not the work submitted is original. Specifications and schedules must be included.
AD-1 BASIC ARCHITECTURAL WORKING DRAWINGS
This classification is for students in their first year of architectural drafting. It is for projects such as residential or small commercial buildings. Working drawings should be in pencil or ink on tracing media and should include a minimum of the following drawings: (a) floor plan, (b) two elevations, and (c) typical wall section. Sheet size must NOT be greater than 24" x 36". Drawings are not to be mounted. Specifications and schedules must be included.

AD-2 ADVANCED ARCHITECTURAL WORKING DRAWINGS
This classification is for students in their second year of architectural drafting. Working drawings should be in pencil or ink on tracing media and should include a minimum of the following drawings: (a) floor plan, (b) foundation plan, (c) typical wall section, and (d) four elevations. Sheet size must not be greater than 24" x 36". Drawings are not to be mounted. Specifications and schedules must be included.

AD-3 ARCHITECTURAL PRESENTATION DRAWINGS
This classification is for students in architectural drawing. Drawings in this classification are for the presentation of a residence or commercial building shown by an architect to his client. The entry should include all drawings necessary to indicate the scope of the project. A perspective drawing(s) rendered in black and white or in color on any suitable media is (are) required. Also, the entry must include floor plans, wall section(s), all elevations, and a plot plan on suitable tracing media. The size must not be greater than 24" x 36". Indication must be made whether or not the work submitted is original.

AD-4 ARCHITECTURAL MODELS
All architectural models are to be entered in this classification. These may include a residential model or a small commercial/industrial model. The floor plan(s) and a wall section(s) are required drawings.

AD-5 ARCHITECTURAL COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING

AD-6 ADVANCED ARCHITECTURAL CAD
This classification is for advanced students in their second or subsequent years of architectural computer aided drafting. It is for projects such as residential or small commercial buildings. Working drawings should be on plotter media and should include a minimum of the following drawings: floor plan, four elevations, foundation or basement plan, typical wall section, door and window schedules, and detail drawings of stairs, fireplaces, cabinetry, or any information to clarify construction requirements are encouraged. Sheet size must not be larger that 24" x 36". Drawings are not be mounted.
