Entries in this division are representatives of the various crafts areas of
art and industry. Any projects made of art metal, ceramics, jewelry, leather,
or wood carving. Projects may not be produced (cut, etched, carved, etc) by
computer. Drawings, patterns, plans are not included in computer exclusion.
IC-1 ART METAL
Any project made of metal which involves etching, decorative peening, piercing,
tooling, spinning, or similar operations is eligible. Examples: Ash tray, wall
plaque, or spun dish.
Awards in Groups A, B, C, and E.
IC-2 CERAMICS
Any project involving the process of greenware molding and firing associated
with ceramics is eligible. Examples: Ash trays, bowl, vases, dinnerware, or
figurines. If auxiliary equipment is student made, such as a mold, it should
be included with the project.

IC-3 JEWELRY
Any project involving the material processes and operations associated with
the making of jewelry is eligible. Examples: Rings, broaches, bracelets, or
earrings. Drawings, plans, or patterns are required.

IC-4 WOOD CARVING
Any project made of wood which involves the use of carving tools. Examples:
Bird, dog, or statue.
Awards in Groups A, B, C, and E.
IC-5 LEATHER
Any project made of leather which involves the manipulative processes associated
with leathercraft, including tooling, embossing, carving, dying, or lacing is
eligible. Examples: Billfolds, handbags, belts, or key carrier. Note: Kits must
be identified with construction plans in leather projects.
