JUDGING AND EVALUATION:

Judging of projects will be done by representatives of industry and selected teachers. Judges will use score sheets requiring numerical ratings of certain projects characteristics (i.e., design, finish, fit, and construction).
The student must submit a technical report about their project. The technical report is an integral part of the State Contest and the technical report score result is combined with the student's project rating to determine the student's total evaluation. The project score will equal seventy-five (75%) percent and knowledge score (written test and technical report) will equal twenty-five (25%) percent of the total score. A minimum of two students will be required to take the written test in any group project of more than two members or all may take it, scores will be averaged.
