Technical Report
Guidelines

The Technical Report is a designed to assist the judges in scoring the State Contest project. The Technical Report is intended to provide the evaluator with additional information about the entry and processes occurring during production. It should provide information about the research, skill building, problem solving, and processes involved in developing the project. The length is limited to ONE (2) PAGES and IT MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY PRODUCED (computer or typewriter). All entries must have the Technical Report and be attached to other required documentation, otherwise 10 point deduction occurs on the evaluation form. The following are guidelines for producing the Technical Report.

Components:

I. Entry Identification
A. Entry Title

II. Research and Development
A. Description of Materials
B. Description of Resources used (Example: books, magazines, internet, teacher, etc)
C. Description of Tools and Equipment used

III. Review and Evaluation
A. Brief Summary of Entry Activities and Processes
B. Description of problems that occurred during production and steps followed to
develop the stated solution

MAXIMUM LENGTH - 1 PAGE
