Entries in this division must contain work done in a technology lab course.
A complete set of drawings must accompany each project in this division, but
the drawings for the entry will not be considered a material area.
TE-1 MATERIAL COMBINATION PROJECT
An entry in this classification must involve work in two or more technology
lab material areas. Example: (A lamp constructed of wood and plastic would represent
two material areas and the electrical wiring would represent the third material
area.) This project must be made in a technology lab course rather than a unit
lab course.
Awards in Groups A, B, C, and E.
TE-2 MULTIPLE PROJECTS
A student may enter two or three separate projects produced from the various
technical areas. Example: (One project from the graphic arts area, one from
the electronics area, one from the power area, etc.) These projects must be
made in a technology lab (multiple areas of study) course rather than a unit
shop (a single area of study class ie: woods, metals, etc). Awards in Groups
A, B, C, and E.
TE-3 MASS PRODUCED PROJECTS
An entry in this classification must involve work from a technology lab group
of 10 or more students which planned and constructed a mass production project.
The best three of the mass produced run will be entered for judging.
Awards in Groups A, B, C, and E.
