CCBF offers several housing programs to its residents. The 50/50 House Repair Program, operating since January 1995, provides a 50 percent rebate to homeowners 55 and younger who do exterior work on their houses, meet income guidelines, and are owner-occupants in the 11th Ward. The CCBF House Repair Program for Senior Home Owners is a grant program for 11th Ward residents who are 55 years and up, owner-occupants, and have financial need. This program is funded about 70 percent by the Community Development Administration and 30 percent by private industry. CCBF is also active in housing development. CCBF recently completed 14 new apartments at Virginia and Robert. CCBF works with developers in the area, with the Community Development Administration, and with the aldermen. CCBF sponsors a housing corporation.

DeSales Community Housing Corporation is a neighborhood-based, non-profit organization established in 1976 to serve the Fox Park and Tower Grove East neighborhoods. Governed by a board of directors and employing a full-time professional staff, it serves as a catalyst for neighborhood stabilization by taking a pro-active role in promoting a diverse community with a quality housing stock. DeSales sponsors the Apartment Owners Association, which holds bimonthly meetings for owners of rental properties in Fox Park, Tower Grove East and Benton Park West. DeSales offers free rental referrals to both tenants and landlords and runs the Management Assistance Program (MAP), which provides professional management to rental property owners. MAP property owners are eligible for grant money to be used for repairs and improvements to their units. DeSales initiated the Two-Family Homeowner Incentive Program for purchasers of two-family residential buildings. The program offers a low interest loan to help buyers with their down payment and closing costs. DeSales also offers loan counseling to homebuyers, assists developers in the preparation of development plans and proposals for funding, and maintains a list of qualified contractors, lenders, insurance agents, appraisers, and realtors for general information on an ongoing basis.

Dutchtown South provides information and counseling on available community resources, especially on housing and public safety issues. Dutchtown South offers homeownership counseling program to educate families about owning their own home. Its service area consists of the Dutchtown, Mount Pleasant, and Gravois Park neighborhoods.

Founded in 1977, FPSEHC is in the forefront of efforts to strengthen and stabilize the Forest Park Southeast (FPSE) neighborhood. The FPSE neighborhood is a racially and economically diverse community that is home to more than 4,000 residents. The FPSEHC Board of Directors is a neighborhood-based board comprised of representatives elected by established neighborhood organizations and the Wedge Group business association. Board membership also includes at-large membership of neighborhood residents. During the past twenty years the FPSEHC has worked to stimulate housing development and rehabilitation within the neighborhood.
The FPSEHC has leveraged federal funds with private financing to develop more that 70 affordable housing units in the neighborhood, focusing primarily on owner-occupied properties. The Housing Corporation has assisted with the development of some of the finest examples of property restoration in the City of St. Louis including the Oakland Rowhouses, the Arco Avenue solar townhomes and the Lambskin Temple apartments. More recently, it has been active in the creation of a comprehensive neighborhood plan for FPSE.

The Ville is situated just northwest of downtown St. Louis, and covers a roughly 9 x 5 block area. The Corporation's service area takes in most of the Greater Ville neighborhood and the entirety of the Ville neighborhood. The Corporation's program was developed to combat physical deterioration in the area through housing rehabilitation. The Corporation also provides housing related services and referrals, encouraging housing development, home ownership, and home improvement. It has been active in promoting the development of the Ville neighborhood historical monument, and promoting retail development.

Hamilton Heights is bounded by Martin Luther King Drive on the northeast, the city limits on the northwest, Page Avenue on the south, and Union Boulevard on the east. The neighborhood organization also services nearby parts of the Wells/Goodfellow neighborhood. The organization provides safe, sanitary affordable housing for low- and very low-income families within or desiring to locate in the area by reclaiming vacant housing units through rehabilitation.

McRee Town is the area bounded on the west by Vandeventer, on the north by Chouteau, on the east by 39th Street, and on the south by Interstate 44. The neighborhood association has a program to combat physical deterioration in the neighborhood through renovation and rehabilitation. It offers housing related services and referrals, and offers programs encouraging home ownership and affordable housing for low-moderate income residents.

Northside is a referral service for housing that provides budgeting, counseling, credit checks, and list of available housing. It is the sponsoring agency for the MHDC housing program and one year follow-up. There are no income guidelines but it is available only to City residents.

The West End Community Conference was incorporated in 1955 for civic and educational purposes. Presently, the WECC is contracted by the St. Louis Community Development Administration to deliver the Neighborhood Assistance Program. This program entails rehabilitating 6 units of housing for low- to moderate-income families, maintaining an inventory of area housing and land, and the promotion and beautification of the West End Area. WECC has been active in the renovation and reopening of the West End Community Center facility.
