A healthy social atmosphere for neighborhood children and their moms is provided by the Benton Park playgroup. The group meets every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Children get together and play in different homes while parents enjoy coffee and get to know each other. Saturday, September 15: Wine Tasting Fundraiser to benefit the Gateway Pet Guardians: From 1 to 5 p.m. at 2150 Lafayette Avenue. Help the Gateway Pet Guardians save as many pets as possible from street life. Enjoy a parlor tour of this Victorian home while tasting delicious wines. Sunday, September 16: St. Raymond's Maronite Cathedral Annual Festival: The church, located at 931 Lebanon Drive in Downtown St. Louis, invites you and your family to attend the annual festival, to be held from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thousands of "Lebanese-For-A-Day" friends join parishioners to enjoy traditional Lebanese foods, desserts and music. Finding Your Lost Pet: If your cat or dog disappears, your first step should be to visit the Animal Regulation Center at 2120 Gasconade. Call 353-5838 for hours. Do this quickly, before you post your "missing cat" or "missing dog" posters around the neighborhood or put an ad in the newspaper.
