Bevo Neighborhood
Parks

[HorseShoeLake]

Two beautiful city parks form the southern boundary of the Bevo Area. The first is Carondelet Park, one of the larger St. Louis City Parks.

Carondelet Park has numerous shelters for the use of residents. It contains several picnic areas, pavilions and playgrounds. There are also tennis courts, horseshoe pits, baseball and soccer fields, including one large lighted field.

There are two large lakes. Boat Lake has a World's Fair-style dock and pavilion. A favorite passtime for children and adults is feeding the ducks at Boat Lake. Horseshoe Lake is a community fishing lake, and is stocked by the Missouri Department of Conservation.

[ChristyPark]

Christy Park is a smaller park. It features playgrounds that are well-used in the summer as well as baseball and soccer fields. The Fire House is located at the northern boundary of the park at Kingshighway and Christy.
