Step 5 -- First follow-up

At this time you and your staff (and any students, interns, or volunteers who are involved at this point) should initiate phone calls to neighborhood leaders and residents, and to staff at not-for-profit agencies (depending on who your target audience is). These calls will help promote the web fair and ensure the accuracy of your mailing lists.

Start to consider what will go in the information packets you give people who attend your event. They probably should include a schedule, an evaluation form, and something to introduce who you are.

Continue holding the informational meetings (if this is what you are going to do).

Follow-up with any sponsors you have identified. Make sure they will still donate the staff, money, giveaways, etc. they agreed to give.
