Enforcement Section Functions
This Section of the Air Pollution Control Division is responsible for assuring compliance with the myriad of City, State, and Federal regulations enacted for the control of air pollutants.
- Oversight of all industrial or commercial facilities to which any air emissions rules apply. This can range from small dry cleaners to large chemical manufacturers.

All large emission sources are inspected annually with smaller facilities inspected at least every five (5) years.
- Regulatory responsibility for the proper abatement of Asbestos from all residential, commercial, and industrial locations to which the rules apply.
- Semi-annual inspections of all gasoline dispensing facilities within the City to assure compliance with Stage I and II vapor recovery rules.
