Air Pollution Monitoring Network

The City of St. Louis, Department of Public Safety, Division of Air Pollution Control maintains a network of air pollution monitoring stations. These stations monitor Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Ozone (O3), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Inhalable Particulate matter (PM10 & PM2.5). The stations are linked to a centralized computer system located in the Division's Technical Services Section and the information is polled on a regular basis by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Air Pollution Section.
