Former Lemp Brewery has had a diverse land use history
For each Historic Land Use Category, a data set was compiled by the Environmental Review Officer, from examination of public reference documents (shown below), selected in approximately 10-year intervals.
For each data set, historic addresses were assigned a numeral representing its Sanborn map volume and plate location. From its Sanborn volume and plate location, assignment of historic address was performed comparing its Sanborn Map Location with its location on the Land Records Management System (LRMS) electronic plat book, used by the City. Each historic address was then assigned an LRMS parcel ID number for mapping purposes. Historic adresses with no parcel ID number represent cases in which this matching process was not able to be performed.
The City of St. Louis Development Agencies make no warranties, expressed or implied, concerning the completeness of this information. This information is subject to revision.
These data sets are merely a listing of property parcels that have been identified in the reference documents (shown below) as having been one or more of the Historic Land Use Categories, considered one of the Potential Hazards & Nuisances Impact Categories comprising the Environmental Review Checklist, used in the Review Process. This listing may not contain all such property parcels having been one or more of the categories comprising the data sets. For instance, properties not listed in the reference documents (shown below), nor those begun and ceased operation between the time intervals studied, would not be included in this list.
This data has yet to be compared to archival information which may exist in various City departments, but which is not sorted in a format useful for easy access with respect to the Environmental Review Process.
