Pursuant to 24 CFR Part 58, Environmental Review Procedures for Entities Assuming HUD Environmental Review Responsibility, all Federally-assisted program activities are reviewed by CDA, on a site-by-site basis, for their impact to and from the surrounding environment. Activities are reviewed using a checklist, containing various impact categories.
A cumulative record of these reviews is maintained at CDA, and available for public inspection. A listing of environmental reviews performed since January 1, 1996 can be downloaded from this website. These reviews are part of the Environmental Review Record, maintained at CDA. Based on information contained in the Environmental Review Record, project activity is determined either 1. to have no significantly adverse impact on the environment, and be eligible for Federal funding, or 2. to have a significantly adverse impact, which requires mitigation (corrective action) prior to being eligible for Federal funding.
