Donate & Join a Growing List of Project Homeless Connect STL Supporters

The City of St. Louis will conduct its 4th Annual Project Homeless Connect on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 as part of a nationwide initiative to engage the public in developing innovative solutions to homelessness. Project Homeless Connect links homeless individuals to services that include medical treatment, substance abuse and mental health counseling, legal services, employment assistance and other social services. These services are coordinated in a centralized location with the ultimate goal of housing and self-sufficiency.

There are four sponsorship* categories:

Platinum Sponsorship

Gold Sponsorship

Silver Sponsorship

Bronze Sponsorship

$5,000+

$3,000 - $4,999

$1,500 - $2,999

$500 - $1,499

*Sponsors are categorized according to total annual in-kind and/or monetary donation.

The best way to support the effort to end homelessness in Saint Louis, in addition to volunteering your time, is to directly support the work of the organizations in our community that help the homeless every day. Here are some examples of how your donation could help these organizations provide direct services to homeless people.

$25 – Hygiene Kit (Socks, undergarments, Tooth paste & Brush, Soup, Lotion)
$35 – Legal identifying documents (ID, SS Card, Birth Cert., Police Check)
$60 – Metro Transportation to employment and appointments for a month
$150 – Workforce Appropriate Clothing
$650 – Financial Assistance to prevent eviction

Build unique new partnerships with other social sector organizations and government agencies
Offer a unique new volunteering opportunity to its volunteer community

The Private Sector

The Private Sector has been working to improve the lives of St. Louisans for a long time. The goal of Project Homeless Connect STL is to make it easier to partner with the government to help increase the impact of their philanthropic efforts and build in real measurable improvements into the lives of the people who need help.

Providing in-kind services, such as eyeglasses for homeless clients or free medical supplies
