What is the St. Louis City Continuum of Care? The St. Louis City Continuum of Care is the coordinating system for more than 50 nonprofit agencies committed to ending homelessness in the St. Louis Area. It is a major part of our community’s plan to organize and deliver housing and services to meet the needs of people who are homeless. The Continuum also strives to increase general awareness of solutions to homelessness, acts to promote and support “Best Practice” services to end homelessness, shares resources with partner organizations and the community, and engages stakeholders and the community in Continuum initiatives. Homelessness ends here Each one of us reacts to homelessness in a different way. Some offer deep compassion. Others are indignant that so many dollars are spent to support a homeless population. But we are all anxious to see a solution. Thanks to the 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness, implemented by St. Louis City’s and County’s Continuums of Care, we are much closer to our goal of ending chronic homelessness in the region.
