Here are a few tips on how to vote on the Optical Scan and Touch Screen Voting Systems

  1. 1. Obtain your ballot from an election judge. Verify that it is the ballot you requested and carefully read all directions.
    2. With a black or blue ink pen, or a pencil, fill in the oval to the left of the name of each candidate and/or issue for which you wish to vote.
    3. Review your selections. If you've made a mistake, alert an election judge who will void your ballot and give you a new one.
    4. When you are satisfied with your selections, place the ballot in the
    privacy sleeve for transport to the optical scan reader and insert it.
    5. That's it! You have successfully cast your ballot using the optical
    scan voting system.
