ADOPTION SUCCESS STORIES

CHERRY

July 2006

We adopted Cherry about three weeks ago and we loved her from the start! Truly the best dog, she loves to flop down on our laps, get her belly rubbed, crunch ice cubes, chase the frisbee (although the closest she's come to catching it so far is the time it landed flush on her head and stayed there for a few seconds like a hat), and sniff our two cats--who she's very curious about but she totally defers to them and leaves them alone when needed. We're so glad we adopted her. She's a great dog, just full of affection and unconditional love, but also feisty and fun, too. Our adoption coordinator really took the time to find us a pup that fit our household and personalities, and it has worked out fabulously. Here are a couple of photos of Cherry--one with the two of us in her new backyard and one surrounded by her favorite toys!
