Hi,
Just wanted to write and thank everybody there for what you do everyday. I adopted Turk last week and want to tell you how he is doing.
We instantly became best friends. I don't think he knows that at one time I wasn't his mom. He is perfect. He loves to go for walks and gets sooo excited, bouncing up and down on his hind legs when I get his leash out. He is absolutely fantastic with my little 3 and 4 year old grandkids. Let's them hug him, brush him and even lay their heads on him while they are watching movies! He rarely barks and loves to be brushed. He and my cat act like they have always known each other. They eat out of the same bowl! He is completely and totally housebroken and will "tell" me when he has to go. (Let Suzanne know that the "poop thing" is resolved. He went the second day. Ha ha.) Anyway, he is adorable and I love him and am so grateful to you all. I especially want to thank Pat and Suzanne for helping me with my decision. (Haven't needed the crate)
He rides with me in the car to do errands, sits in the back seat with his big ole head out there and his freckled tongue catching all the wind he can stand.
Thanks to all.
Your pet-loving friend,
Debbie T.
PS If I can ever move to my own place I will come and let you help me get another buddy.
