BAXTER

Hi there Wayne!!  I can not begin to thank you enough for pointing me out to my new best-friend!!  My human, Loree, really seems to like me…and boy does she give good belly-rubs!!  Of course, I’m always a well behaved boy with her and the rest of the family.  And just look at my girlfriend!!  With those blue eyes and long white legs, I’m the envy of the neighborhood!!

But I wouldn’t have this great life if it weren’t for you.  You took the time to get to know me while I was there, and were able to explain to Loree that I was only barking at her because I wanted to go outside to use the bathroom, as I can’t stand going in my cage (She doesn’t like barking dogs, but I really had to go potty!) Well, I wanted you to know that I’ve done my best to make you proud of me.  I’ve been with my family for over 2 months now, and still haven’t had any “accidents”, even when I’ve been to the “grandparents” house!

My humans say that they’ve never met a dog as well mannered as I am.  I always listen to them, I never get on the couch…until I’m invited, I go outside whenever they tell me to, I always watch to see if they want to pet me without being “demanding”, I don’t beg for food (ok, I do watch to see if they drop anything, but I don’t pester them), I don’t try to go out the door for a car ride with them…until they invite me, and I get along with every dog or human that I meet!

I know I’m not a good looking guy, but Loree says I’m the best dog she’s ever had!!  And I’m a great lap dog!!  She said that I’ve even made my Husky girlfriend more “personable”.  I guess she was a bit of a snob before I came around, but now she realizes that the family is fun to hang around with (plus sometimes we get special treats!).

Again, I just wanted to thank you and everyone else there for taking the time with me, and helping me find the humans that were right for me.  Keep up the good work!!

Your friend,

Baxter
