KING

Hey Guys,

It’s me King! Just a little update and a couple of cool pics. Mom says I’m doing really well. I initially had a couple of accidents in the basement but once I taught Mom & Dad I could go potty any time 24/7 for a Scooby snack…no more accidents. So far I’ve eaten twice my weight in snacks. YUM! The only thing I’ve chewed up is my own bed/futon. Mom caught me early but boy did I get a spanking. I haven’t chewed on anything since. Mom says if I had to chew something I picked the right thing. She can cover it with a more durable material like blue jean. Other than that I’m just getting to know my new little brothers Sammy and Buttercup (they’re cats). I would really like to play with them but they’re not so hip to that. All things considered we get along pretty good. I’ve also taken a couple of long walks @ the park. I’m learning how to walk pretty as Mom calls it. It’s very exhausting. When I get home I always take a nice long nap. I had a play date with my Aunt Denise and cousin Zia. She’s a German Shepard mix too…Zia not Denise. We’re going to the park. We’ve had company several times and so for everybody thinks I’m adorable. When company comes I get all kinds of really good leftovers. I love company! I’ve been really good about not jumping on people. Mom says I’ve mastered basic socialization and it’s time to move on to the finer points, sit, stay, and lay down. I bet I’ll get a lot of Scooby snacks.

I was a little itchy so Mom and Dad decided I should go meet Dr. Jones to get checked out. I got two shots. One was a steroid and the other was an antibiotic. I had a really bad reaction and almost died. We were all very scared. But I’m OK now and Mom says I’ll never get that again. I still itch a bit but I think I’ll just live with it, beats the alternative. Mom and Dad put hydrocortisone cream on my hot spots.

Here are some of my best pics. I’ll keep in touch, Love, King
