ADOPTION SUCCESS STORIES

RIFKA

Not the most recent success story, but maybe one of the oldest:
We adopted Rifka (aka Chiffon) almost 7 years ago at the Gasconade
shelter. Her "Webpet until 10/15/1998" print-out still hangs above her
pad! Since then we've had our second, this time human child and are one happy family. Rifka is the light of our lives, nothing would be the
same without her. Seriously! She takes Julia to preschool every day,
has taught hundreds of kids about responsible pet ownership and even
been a therapy dog! Some call her an angel dog. She goes everywhere
with us. Thanks to all of you! Believe it or not, we tell our adoption
story at least once a month and often think about all you great
volunteers who make such a difference.
