TIVA

"Bringing a puppy into a home with two senior dogs could have been a big mistake, but Tiva, a Shepherd/Rottweiler and Lab? mix, has been a perfect fit for the other dogs and humans in our home! TiVa (named partially for television technology) is the only dog we’ve ever had who actually watches television. TiVa is full of joy! She wakes us in the morning with lots of kisses and leaping with her 50 plus pounds on the bed. Almost every picture we have taken of TiVa has 10 year old Lady somewhere in the picture also. They play constantly. TiVa leaps from the top step to get outside quicker or downstairs quicker for a rawhide chew or for a walk. She is so funny, always with something in her mouth, a toy, glove, shoe or foraged finds from the park like a Doritos bags, pinecone or stick.

Since we both work during the day, we have an internet camera to check in on her from time to time. Mostly, she'll be sacked out on the couch watching Animal Planet or looking out the window. Occasionally, she'll have something to chew on. It's always interesting to see what she's up to now.

We've had a great experience working with the pound! "
