Communicable
Disease Prevention and Control |
| |
| The Communicable Disease control programs are dedicated
to preventing the spread of disease. Their work helps protect the
public from a variety of infectious diseases that if ignored could
easily spread serious illness throughout the City. These diseases
range from old enemies such as tuberculosis to exotic emerging diseases,
sexually transmitted diseases, hepatitis A, influenza, and the plague
of HIV/AIDS. |
