If you are a licensed Auctioneer in any county in the State of Missouri, St. Louis City recognizes that license. However, if you have an office in the City of St. Louis you must obtain an Auctioneer License. You may wish to review the Missouri Revised Statutes, 1994, Section 343.080 Public Auctioneers for additional information.
On your visit to the License Collector’s office in Room 104 of City Hall, an auctioneer’s license can be purchased according to the following scale:
One month date to date: $10.00
Three months date to date: $20.00
Six month date to date: $30.00
One year date to date: $50.00
There is a $2.00 registration fee for each license.
In addition to visiting the License Collector’s office, you will also need to obtain a clearance from the Collector of Revenue’s office at the location below:
