Vendor- Festival (Booth) Business

Booths, Stalls, Stands

 

All non-permanent or transient  businesses must meet the criteria of a Vehicle, Sidewalk, Itinerant or Festival Vendor.  If your business DOES NOT fall within this criteria your business is prohibited.

 

**YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER WITH THE LICENSE COLLECTORS OFFICE BEFORE YOU CAN GET YOUR HEALTH PERMIT.**

               

Cost: $75.00 per booth  ~~  payment must be made by cash or money order ONLY.  Before visiting City Hall to acquire your Festival License you must:

 

1.   Register with the State of Missouri for a State Sales Tax Number to sell in the City of St. Louis

2.   All cooking operations are subject to Fire Marshal approval:

3.   If using PROPANE GAS for any reason, you must obtain a fire safety permit from:

 

    Cost: $ 20.00 per location  or  type

4.   Obtain a Liquor Permits, if any liquor products are sold:

If food or other product  is sold with liquor a $75.00 Festival License will be required along with catering license.

 

5.  A Tent or Air-supported structure may require a permit

    Notarized form must be completed.   Cost: $24.00

 

6.  Any temporary electrical service:

Permit must be pulled by Licensed and Bonded Contractor

 

On the day you visit the License Collector's Office to complete your application for a Festival License you will need to:

 

    A.  Obtain clearance from the Collector of Revenue        St. Louis City Ordinance 63454

    B.  Letter from The Event Organizer of your participation in The Event.

 

    C.  Health Permit (if selling food)

 

**The health dept will require a copy of your paid receipt for a Itinerant Vendor License, before a health application can be taken.**

    $200.00 Venders License (street or sidewalk) is NOT an accepted license

 

    No photo ID will be needed for a Booth License

 

    You are REQUIRED to post your Festival License from the License Collector’s Office
