**NOTE:  Ordinance 3108.6.1 ,

No satellite dish antenna or other similar device shall be located in front of the building line of any structure or attached to the street side of any structure unless such placement is required to properly access a satellite transmission. A satellite dish may not extend more than 36 inches (914 mm) above the roof peak.

Any satellite antenna, or similar device, must be located in the rear yard and shall have suitable protective anti-climb fencing. A landscape planting screen shall be provided and maintained around the structure and accessory attachments.

Satellite antennas, or similar devices, which are located in a rear yard which fronts a public street shall be properly screened from view. Proper screening shall be limited to suitable protective anti-climbing fence and a landscape planting screen.

No satellite antenna, or similar device shall be located in any side yard, nor shall it be located on the street side of any structure, except as permitted above

 

 

Here are the steps needed to acquire a Graduated Business License.

 

1. If you are selling a product you must register with the State of Missouri for a State Sales Tax Number.   Please obtain this number before visiting City Hall.

If you are not selling a product, proceed to step 2.

 

2. Visit the License Collector’s office in Room 104 of City Hall.  For your convenience, you may fill out the Graduated Business License form in advance.  You can download it here

 

3. In addition to visiting the License Collector’s office, you will also need to obtain a clearance from the Collector of Revenue’s office at the location below:

4. You must also obtain an Occupancy Permit from the Building Division at the location below:

5. Bring proof of Workers' Compensation coverage with you or you will be asked to sign a statement stating that you have Workers' Compensation coverage or that you are not required by law to have it.

6. Upon receiving your business license, you must also obtain a communications permit. Communication permits can be acquired at:

Additional Information:

 

    If the you pay by check, the license application may be held for several working days until the check clears.

 

    A separate Graduated Business License is required for each business location or trade name.

 

    All general contractors are required to furnish a list of the sub-contractors on any job to the License Collector.
