Bonus for Outstanding Attendance

During December, City employees with outstanding attendance records will receive a bonus.

Under the Attendance Bonus Program, Civil Service employees (permanent positions paid at a bi-weekly rate of pay, working one-half time or more) who did not use any sick leave or other disqualifying leave will receive 16 hours of pay or compensatory time.

Employees who have used 16 or fewer hours of sick leave or other disqualifying leave will receive 8 hours of pay or compensatory time.

The qualifying period for this year’s Attendance Bonus Program was November 9, 2008 through November 7, 2009.

Bonuses to be received as pay will appear on paychecks issued Friday, December 11, 2009.
