Changes To Contribution Amounts For Deferred Compensation Plan

Any changes you would like to make to your salary deferral election for the 457 Plan can be done online by logging on to www.stlouis457.com or by calling KeyTalk toll-free at (800) 701-8255, option 1.1 This new functionality allows you to increase, decrease, reinstate or suspend your deferrals to the 457 Plan. Employees can schedule changes up to six months in advance.

To be in compliance with IRS Code Section 457(b)(4) and the City of St. Louis Public Employees 457 Deferred Compensation Plan Document, salary deferral changes will not take effect until the month following the month in which they are submitted. For example, a change submitted in November will not take place until the first pay period in December. However, payroll needs to have all changes submitted a minimum of seven days prior to the next pay period.

For more information, contact your local Great-West Retirement Services office at 314-241-1334.
