License CollectorEmployee of the Month/Year Incentive Program

License Collector Michael McMillan believes in rewarding his employees for their outstanding work performance and customer service. Each month different employees are recognized for extending themselves beyond their job responsibilities, quality customer service and overall office productivity. Through this Employee Incentive Program McMillan acknowledges his workers by presenting them with customized plaques before the entire staff to show his appreciation for their dedication, skills, and reliability in performing their duties.

When asked, Monica Patton, Account Clerk, who has won employee of the month for two consecutive years, what she thought of the program, she responded, “I think the program is a wonderful incentive that gives the employees motivation to work hard and feel that their work is appreciated.”

Another award winner, Ben Lambert stated, “The Employee of the Month Program gives all employees of the License Collector’s Office an opportunity to receive recognition for the hard work they do. I am honored to have been chosen for Employee of the Month.”

Chauncey Gilbert, who has worked in the office for more than 15 years, says, “I love my job. Mike is a great boss. He always lets me know that he appreciates how hard I work. I bring in results. It’s a good team.”

Also asked the question was Employee of the Year recipient Dawn Gann-Cruz who added, “We have incentive to go the extra mile, to serve our customers to the fullest extent, and to go above and beyond to continuously improve our customer service skills.”

McMillan strongly feels that it is his responsibility as a leader to boost the self-esteem of his staff. He believes that if people believe in themselves and genuinely feel appreciated, it is amazing what they can accomplish.
