Free Seasonal Flu Shots For City Employees

The Department of Personnel will provide seasonal flu shots again this year in conjunction with BarnesCare and UnitedHealthcare (UHC) at no cost to employees. Last year more than 1,400 employees were inoculated at the flu clinics during October and November.

UHC will provide seasonal flu shots for employees in the downtown area in the City Hall rotunda from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4. and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18.

AN APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY FOR CITY HALL. Call 1-877-239-3557, Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. to make your appointment. You must make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance of the flu clinic date.

BarnesCare will provide seasonal flu shots to departments that are not in the downtown area. A schedule of the flu shots for November is listed below. Please note – these are not H1N1 shots.
