Mayor Francis G. SlayMayor’s Service Awards Ceremony Set for May 15

All employees are invited to attend the annual Mayor’s Service Awards Ceremony, which is set for 3 p.m. Thursday, May 15 in the City Hall Rotunda, 1200 Market Street.

More than 40 Civil Service employees were nominated for personal recognition by Mayor Francis G. Slay for their accomplishments and dedication. The selection process was not an easy one, as many deserving nominations were reviewed by the Mayor’s Service Awards Committee. The awardees can be very proud of this recognition.

The categories this year are: Sustained Superior Performance, Monetary Savings, Improved Level of Service, Departmental Image, Event-Centered Act of Distinction, Customer Service, Safety and Employee of the Year. The recipients of this year’s awards have been notified by mail.

Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a reception for the winners and their guests in the Mayor’s Office.
