Collector of Revenue Gregory F.X. DalyRetirements

It is with deepest gratitude and pride that we announce the retirement of two longtime employees of the Collector of Revenue Office.

After 28 years of dedicated service, Virginia Collins retired in February. Virginia spent many years as the receptionist in the front office where she assisted countless taxpayers, always with a smile and a friendly demeanor.

After 17 years in the Collector of Revenue office and a lifetime of public service, James Whitmore retired in March. Jim served as the senior collector, managing the Water Billing Department, and over the years took on many other aspects of the office. His pleasant and easy-going style, and calming voice of reason made him a real asset to the office.

While they will be sorely missed, we wish both Virginia and Jim a long, happy, and healthy retirement.
