Tax Bills
On November 6th tens of thousands of tax bills
will be mailed to property owners in the City of St. Louis. The
deadline for paying your real estate and personal property tax
bills is December 31st.
In our effort to continually improve customer service, we have
made more payment options available. We hope you will take advantage
of them and pay your tax bill by December 31st.
Easy Payment Methods
Pay in Person
Personal property and real estate as well as water bills can
be paid in person in Room 109 at City Hall. You may pay with
cash, cashier’s check, money order and debit or credit cards.
There is a $1.00 convenience fee for debit and credit card transactions.
Personal checks are accepted for some transactions.
Pay at your Neighborhood Bank
You can pay your tax bills at our payment centers located inside
the following banks:

use Jurisdiction Code 3512. All payments processed through Official
Payments have a convenience fee.
Pay by Mail
You can pay your tax bills through the mail with cashier’s checks,
money orders and personal checks are accepted for some transactions.
Pay by Phone
Call 1-800-2PAY-TAX and use Jurisdiction Code 3512. All payments
processed through Official Payments have a convenience fee.

of the work ahead of us, and for being so thoroughly prepared.
The bank cashiers are trained and ready to deploy to their satellite
locations throughout the City. The cashiers are trained and ready
on the INOVA cashiering system. Mail Supervisor David Jackson
and his team are working diligently to ensure the bills are stuffed
and mailed on time. Pat Ortmann and her team in the Property
Tax Department stand at the ready to receive the taxpayers. We
are well-prepared and ready for a successful tax season!
