Air Conditioner Program

As part of Operation Weather Survival’s outreach efforts during the hot summer months, St. Louis Area Agency on Aging (SLAAA) helps coordinate a free air conditioner program for seniors living in the City of St. Louis. Free air conditioning units, made available through Ameren UE are installed in the home of any senior with a medical need for cooling.

If you or someone you know has a disease or medical condition that a doctor has stated is worse in the heat, please call the St. Louis Area Agency on Aging at 612-5918 to request more information about the free air conditioner program.
