City Employees Golf League Starts Tuesday, April 8.

In 2007, the league was made up of 48 two-person teams that played two sessions of nine weeks.

In 2008, league expansion (or number of teams) will be determined by the number of “paid” participants as of March 14.

For 2008, the first tee time will be around 4 p.m., with eight minute intervals between tee times. On some nights we will have a shot-gun start at 5:30 after a previously scheduled tournament finishes. This worked out very well last year!

I encourage all present/previous golf league participants to invite friends and fellow golfers to sign-up and join the City League as openings are available. All new participants are welcomed!

Players/teams should contact Tony Meyers Sr. by March 1, informing me of their intentions.

All fees for participating individuals/teams must be paid by Friday, March 14.

I will contact participating golfers of the final decision after March 14. My office phone number is 259-3477, cell 630-0510, home 781-3726 and email is meyersto@stlouiscity.com.
