If You ‘Plane’ Forgot… It’s Valentine’s Day

It’s clear that a lot of passengers made sure they didn’t “plane” forget, it was Valentine’s Day on Thursday. Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and The Paradies Shops helped travelers find last minute gifts before meeting up with their loved ones. This first of its kind promotion at Lambert featured two sales tables in the Main Terminal Baggage Claim. Customers were able to buy flowers, bouquets and Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate sweets while waiting for their bags to arrive. The event also featured guitarists at both locations to help greet all arriving passengers in the Main Terminal. In just four hours, The Paradies Shops reports they were one shy of selling out of roses. And they sold dozens of boxes of chocolate—big surprise!
