Administrative Assistant Is Acknowledged In Third Book

Refuse Division employee, Patricia Cracchiola, receives recognition in local author Bruce Raisch’s most recent work. She assists with typing, editing, web design and computer work to help produce his books. She also joins in some of the field research and outdoor adventures, including white water rafting, steam train rides and mountain jeep rides as well as camping on mountain tops.

Local St. Louis author, historian, photographer, and ghost town hunter Bruce Raisch presents his latest book in a series of ten:

Ghost Towns of Idaho, the Search for El Dorado. Join the adventure at Bruce’s book signing party, Saturday, April 12th from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Ari’s Restaurant, 3101 Hampton Avenue. All three of his ghost town books will be available: Ghost Towns of Wyoming and Ghost Towns and Other Historical Sites of the Black Hills, as well as Ghost Towns of Idaho. For more details call 781-5621.

Acre Mountain Wilderness Area, a place so rugged that upon seeing it,
Lewis and Clark decided to go around it rather than attempt to pass
through it.
