http://www.slpl.lib.mo.us/cco/code/title17.htm Late Payment SanctionsThe City assesses late payment penalties when a violator fails to pay the original parking violation fine on time. The late payment penalty schedule is summarized below. Late Payment Schedule
A failure to pay or successfully contest a parking ticket on a timely basis can result in significant late payment penalties and collection fees. (For example: if a violator fails to pay a $10 meter fine within 15 days, the total amount due is $20.00—the $10 original fine plus a $10 late payment penalty. After 45 days, the amount due becomes $40.00—the $10 original fine, plus a $30 late payment penalty.) Meter Operation TimesParking meters are in operation Monday through Friday from 8am to 7pm. On Saturdays all meters are in operation from 8am to 7pm, except for some Downtown meters: parking is free on Saturdays at the meters in the Downtown area bounded on the West by Jefferson Ave., to the East by the Mississippi River, to North by Cole St. and to the South by Chouteau Ave. Parking at all meters is free on Sundays and City Holidays.Return to Parking Violations Bureau This Page Last Modified: 11/19/07 |
