Dwight Davis Tennis Center
Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park is the premier outdoor tennis facility in the midwest.
The center is a state-of-the-art facility with 19 lighted tennis courts including a Stadium Court that seats 1,100 spectators. The home of the St. Louis Aces, the facility was renovated and the courts resurfaced as part of the Forest Park Master Plan. Courts 11, 12, 13 and 14 were completed July 1, 2006. New benches and shade awnings were provided for the players in May 2007.
Dwight Davis Tennis Center has all the amenities of a private club but is open to the public. Tennis programs for beginners as well as experts are available. The center offers numerous opportunities for the tennis enthusiast to participate in tournaments and special events.
And it may serve the most diverse group of tennis players in St. Louis. On a summer day, the courts are filled with players of all ages, genders and levels of expertise. From a three-year-old who could barely swing the racket to an eighty-"something" player, the courts attract a true cross-section of tennis players.
Annual passes are available that include unlimited play and the use of the clubhouse with showers and lockers.
After their game, players can relax with a cool beverage or a snack while enjoying the atmosphere only Forest Park an offer.
