weddings

Carondelet Park is a beautiful place to hold a wedding. The rolling hills, lakes and fountains are surround by large trees that provide a picturesque setting for weddings at any time of the day.

Boathouse

The Park Division has two locations to rent for wedding ceremonies in Carondelet Park.

The large Boathouse and the small pagoda on the edge of the lake provide a beautiful location to exchange vows. The Boathouse has a roof but the windows are open, providing an escape from the elements but not from the heat or cold. The center of the Boathouse measures 25 feet (width) by 35 feet (length). The north and south wings are 12 feet (width) by 29 feet (length).

The pagoda on the lake is large enough to accommodate a small wedding party.

Both can be rented for $500 for four hours during the hours the park is open...6 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is electricity available at the Boathouse but not at the pagoda on the lake.

The Music Stand is the building to the southeast of the Boathouse. It consists of the main building, which is 30 x 13 feet and has a roof but no walls. A patio is connected to the south side of the building and it is 37 x 23.

Music Stand

There is a small covered pavilion on the east of the Music Stand that is 31 x 20 feet. It is a good place to barbecue or to use to set-up food.

The Music Stand, shelter and the patio also rent for $500 for four hours ... pick four hours between 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Electricity is available at the Music Stand.

It is suggested that the couple visit the park and inspect all of the facilities.
