Wohl Recreation Center

The Wohl Center is one of the division's premier facilities. Built in 1965, the center is located at the corner of Kingshighway and Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in Sherman Park.

The facility has a gym, crafts room, three multipurpose rooms, a kitchen, a boxing workout room and a full-size indoor/outdoor swimming pool.

Sherman Park features a 220 yard track, two baseball fields, one softball/soccer/football field, two tennis courts, one basketball court, two volleyball courts, an obstacle course and a children's playground. A wide variety of classes and activities are offered at the Wohl Center.

Some of them are tennis, skating, community organizational play, basketball, crafts, tumbling, nutrition, volleyball, aerobics, boxing, table games, karate, slimnastics, music and weightlifting.

Seniors can enjoy mid-day bridge and socials.
