America Recycles Day 2005

America Recycles Day Expo at City Hall
On Tuesday, November 15, 2005, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the City of St. Louis celebrated America Recycles Day with an Expo in the City Hall Rotunda. Open to the general public (free-of-charge), the Expo featured businesses and organizations that exhibited their recycled content products, recyclables collection and processing services, and educational programs. At the event: The Pledge
 At the America Recycles Day Expo, visitors had the chance to make the 2005 America Recycles Day Pledge: A commitment to improve their recycling efforts over the next year.
Signing the pledge automatically entered the signer into a drawing for a Ford Escape Hybrid, or a recycled aluminum content Trek Model 4300 24-speed bicycle.
